Data Tracking Activity
This assignment concentrated on entering data into Microsoft Excel and producing visualizations to extract insights.
Along with learning how to use fundamental Excel functions, I also learned how to extract pertinent information from unprocessed data. By selecting the images that best fit the summarized facts, I also learned how to explain data effectively. Additionally, when the reports didn't seem to be accurate, I saw how important it is to verify accuracy and solve problems.
Team Presenation
This task entailed selecting a team at random, conducting research on a business or communication topic, and then developing and presenting a presentation on the subject.
I gained experience in informing teammates about deadlines and quality standards. I discovered how to express my displeasure and reach compromises without jeopardizing the team's or the project's overall progress. I acquired the skills necessary to compile data into a cohesive voice and deliver it to an audience in a clear, loud, and suitable tone.
Email Assignment
In this project, a superior's email requesting input was edited, a revised email containing the comments was sent, and a response email was composed.
I developed the ability to offer criticism in a constructive and polite manner. Additionally, I learned how to better understand readers' emotions when providing feedback and tailoring recommendations to suit them. Making sure the suggestions are taken into consideration requires striking a balance between positivity and toughness. I discovered how to write emails that are clear enough for people to grasp right away.
Giving and Recieving Feedback
On these assignments, I also got comments from my peers as well as Quinncia, an AI program. My interview skills and résumé were evaluated by Quinncia.
Receiving feedback on how someone else perceived my writing style, structure, and language taught me how to write better feedback. In the same way, I was able to provide my peers feedback, developing my ability to evaluate work and offer helpful criticism.
I was able to learn more about how AI reads my writing and fixes my resume's shortcomings with Quinncia. Additionally, I was able to improve my language skills and comprehend how my speech is perceived.
